Sintered NdFeB rare earth permanent magnets, which were 91.79% of main business revenue at the time of listing, plus injection-molded magnets, rubber magnets and magnetic assemblies. Disclosed end markets are the automotive industry, industrial motors and high-end consumer electronics, with applications in electric power steering, new-energy vehicle traction motors, energy-efficient motors, robot motors, wind power, consumer electronics and 5G equipment. Heavy rare earth reduction technology is disclosed, including grain boundary doping control, whole-process atmosphere control and grain boundary diffusion control, alongside low-heavy-rare-earth and heavy-rare-earth-free product development.

Narrative
Earth-Panda Advanced Magnetic Material is a sintered NdFeB producer headquartered in the Lujiang high-tech zone of Hefei, Anhui. Its own timeline dates it to 2003, when Anhui Xiongfeng New Materials was formed; it was reorganized under the Earth-Panda name in 2008, was approved in 2015 to host a state key laboratory for rare earth permanent magnet materials, and listed on the Shanghai STAR Market in July 2020. It operates plants at Hefei, Baotou and Ningguo and states total sintered NdFeB capacity of about 10,000 metric tons a year at roughly 60 percent utilization. Filings describe grain boundary doping and diffusion control and low- and heavy-rare-earth-free product development. It reported FY2025 revenue of CNY 1.645 billion.
Where public sources disagree
- Samarium cobalt appears in the company's product catalog and on its German subsidiary's site, but filings describe it as purchased externally and resold at customer request within a category that was about 3% of revenue at listing. No samarium cobalt production capacity appears in any filing. Treat the company as an NdFeB producer that supplies samarium cobalt, not one that makes it.
- No university or research-institute lineage could be established from any published source. The company's own timeline begins with Anhui Xiongfeng New Materials in 2003 with no institutional parent. The likeliest source of that belief is the state key laboratory it was approved to host in 2015, which is a laboratory at the company rather than a parent institution.
- A 2022 sell-side report projected 21,000 t/yr by 2025. Company statements in July 2026 put actual capacity at about 10,000 t/yr. The projection was a third-party forecast, not a company disclosure.
- Two conflicting third-party figures circulate for the controlling shareholder's stake, neither confirmed against a filing.
- The company is described in results coverage as one of the leading enterprises in the sintered NdFeB industry, while at listing it disclosed holding about 1.21% of Chinese sintered NdFeB capacity.

How this page is sourced
Everything here comes from public sources — company filings, annual reports, exchange announcements, government releases and trade press. Every figure is linked to the document it came from and carries the date that document was published, because a capacity number without a date is not a fact, it is a rumor with a decimal point.
What is deliberately absent: material nonpublic information. I have spent more than two decades in this industry and a good deal of what I know about these companies I learned under NDA. Those obligations do not expire and they do not bend for a website. Nothing I have been told in confidence appears here in any form, and nothing on this page — or missing from it — should be read as a signal about what I know privately. I hold NDAs absolutely. It is the reason clients tell me things.
Judgment is the other thing left out on purpose. This page reports what has been published and who published it. Whether a target is credible, whether a ramp will hold, whether a capacity figure survives contact with the plant behind it — that is the work I do for clients, and it does not belong in a free reference page.
Where public sources disagree, I say so rather than picking a winner. Where a figure has not been published, the field says so rather than carrying an estimate. An empty field is information too.
Public filings tell you what a company has said. Whether it holds up is a different question, and the one I get hired to answer.
